Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles from Phaseolus vulgaris L. Extracts and Investigation of their Antifungal Activities

In this study, we aimed to synthesize silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using leaf, root, and stem extracts of Phaseolus vulgaris L. (Yunus-90) elucidate their antifungal activities. regard, the prepared AgNPs have been characterized by UV-vis, FT-IR, TEM, SEM, DLS techniques. Then, activity both synthesized commercially purchased was investigated via (i) agar well diffusion, (ii) fungal colony morphotype diversity, (iii) inhibition hyphae (iv) minimum concentration (MIC) analyses against Colletotrichum sp., Fusarium oxysporum, acuminatum, tricinctum, graminearum, incarnatum, Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Alternaria alternata. The derived from leaf extract displayed significantly higher levels relative root extracts. commercial also lower than green equivalents in research, even a low (~50 μg/mL) found be effective suppressing growth tricinctum sp.
